Monorail conveyors consist of a track made from suitably shaped sections welded to dedicated elements that hold them in the correct position. Combining straight track runs with horizontal and vertical curves makes it possible to achieve the required layout.
The chain runs inside the track and is fitted with attachments – fixed or swivelling, free-rotating, rotation-locked or indexed – to which the products to be conveyed, or the accessories needed to carry them, are fastened.
They can operate continuously – with the chain always in motion – or in indexing mode.
The working environment temperature can reach 240°C.
Inverted monorail conveyors need to be installed at floor level on simple supports. They can also be housed in a pit formed in the floor and suitably covered with steel plates, from which only the workpiece carrier protrudes.
Our inverted monorail conveyors are suitable for carrying loads of up to 25 kg per single attachment and up to 2000 kg when a load-bearing trolley is used. With this solution the chain only provides traction and does not have to bear any vertical load.
